Day 2...My Mint Velvet picks of the day
I love Mint Velvet, it is just so pretty yet quirky and this season's collections are gorgeous. Mint Velvet may be a new name to some of you, this great brand can be found in either stand alone stores on our high street or is sold in John Lewis and House of Fraser.
One thing that makes Mint Velvet so recognisable is it's muted tones and also the feel of their fabric and super pricing. Mint Velvet cuts on the larger side so just be aware you may need to go down a size.
Today, I was thinking sunshine, warm summer days and the holiday we are all dreamng of when the kids break up for the summer.
We all love denim so these great denim shorts are perfect, they don't feel like denim as they are so soft and a great length, I have to say gone are the days when I will be seen in a pair of 'short shorts!' My husband would probabaly say my little boys legs would never have looked great in hot pants!!!
I just love their pretty lace detailed shirt with a peplum bottom which is great for those that carry a little weight on their tummy. The peplum also works really well with a curvy bottom half as it works with the curves.
For those summer days that start an end with a chill in the air this gorgeous zip fronted lace cardi completes the outfit.The fact that this cardi is so pretty it adds femininity to the outfit yet is quirky for those of us that like things a little bit different.
And for our feet Mint Velvet have the most stunning low wedged lattice sandal in a taupe, great as a base neutral colour to work with other outfits also. The wedge works well to help balance a bottom half so will work well with all body shapes
