Luscious legs

For me, I love wearing dresses but don't always want to wear bare legs, even in the summer. I felt like a little kid in a sweety shop when I visited mytights website, the selection was amazing.

I was really lucky to be sent a pair of these and I had great pleasure in wearing them to The Vitality show ( which by now you will know I presented at last weekend at Earls Court ). I wore them all day and I can honestly say felt amazing in them and one lady even commented that she would never of known I was wearing tights ( objective achieved )

Vitality show

 

I have had the great pleasure of presenting 'How to dress your body shape' at The Vitality show, Earls court since Thursday of this week. I have been thrilled and amazed at the most brilliant crowds who have come to hear my chat and learn some of my insider style hints and tips.

The crowd today was superb, about 300 deep, the security guards even had to move some ladies from blocking the corridor. It was full of lovely ladies who I hope will be going home thinking about personal syle and their body shape in a different way.

My family have always said I talk with my hands and I now believe them, thank goodness for a hands free mic!

When I drove home down the M4 to return to my family who were on their way back from Legoland the sun was shining and the skies were blue. I had a chance to reflect on how I have the most brilliant job and how really lucky I am in being able to meet lovely ladies, some of them even twice at the same event but on different days.

Going all girly!

I'm sure as I'm getting older I have subconsciously decided it's time to look more feminine and girly.

Don't get me wrong I will always have a love affair with a pair of biker boots, jeans and a leather jacket but even I've amazed myself by how much I am loving the dresses this season, even my husband has noticed!!!!

Just take a look at both of these stuning dresses, both the same style just different colour ways.

I was one of the lucky mums to be spoilt yesterday by my 3 gorgeous children, the oldest whose 23 still left the card at his friends and my super 8 year old twins. We went to Wentworth for lunch so here's what I wore, I popped a red cropped cardi with the electric blue dress, black opaques and shoe boots. Would you believe not another coloured dress in sight!

I'm really quite liking being girly and the selection in the high street and the luxury brands is in abundance.

Who knows what I may purchase next?

Be bold with print

For ladies who find the high street and shopping centres daunting please try not to worry. I wanted to show some examples of how the high street all stock the same garments, prints and styles, they just do it to suit their own customers.

There are alot of these stunning prints around this season, how about injecting into your wardrobe this season, team it with jeans, white linens or an ice cream pleated skirt.

Beautiful jacket from Zara

Pretty silk shirt from Zara, I want to put this with a great pair of tailored electric blue trousers

I have to admit, one of my favourites. This waisted jacket from River Island. I just adore the mixture of colours with the rounded collar

Another light weight jacket from River Island, making great use of the yellow, organge and blue we are seeing so much of this season

These prints are transferring into accessories, this lovely satchel bag from River Island

And finally, this bomber style jacket, again from River Island. I can see this with a pair of black trousers or jeans or bring to real life with a coloured pair of jeans

These garments were found in both River Island and Zara but I also saw the same prints in H & M and New Look ( I just ran out of time to take more pictures....sorry ) proving my point how the high street stores carry the same trends.
